Hi The Goat, thank you for your reply.

I did reach out to Sony - their answer was to do exactly what I already have been doing and that is to remove updates from the TV app… No explanation though as to why Channel 4 and ITVX have gone from the app. The BBC iPlayer works as expected.

Annoyingly, I have to keep removing updates as the TV seems to update the app every couple of days. I know that I can stop updates but don’t really want to do that for the other apps…

So… I shall continue to use the original un-updated app until further notice!

I am not convinced that tying UK tv channels to their TV app as opposed to separate apps like other marques do is the best way… I have an XBox series x and separate TV streaming apps work fine in addition the Channel 4 and ITVX apps broadcasting live content. That is not the case with the Sony app…

Oh well…

Hi, since the latest firmware update - software version PKG6.2302.0260EUA, ITVX and Channel 4 have disappeared from the Live TV and Catch Up app. The tv is a Bravia Google Android KD-65XH9096.

I can regain them by uninstalling the update/reverting to the original version of the app. I am loathe to switch auto updates off for the rest of the system…

Any ideas or solutions?

Many thanks…
