BBC iPlayer not loading

Hi, BBC iPlayer, ITVX and several other apps have stopped loading on my Sony Bravia Android TV. Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and others work. I have performed a factory reset but this hasn’t fixed the issue. Please let know how to resolve this.

Hi @Benny23 Sorry, we cannot help you without the full model number of your TV. It will start with KD, XR or K.

i have same problem..it has always worked but yesterday stopped functioning..how did you solve it?

it will not open on tv with remote control press but i can cast it from android phone no problem.

i cannot find a way of updating the app on my Bravia 75WL 50 inch tv

thank you so much for that reply,appreciated..... i couldn't understand why it stopped working as i have used it regularly until problem yesterday,i had tried everything!

anyway-have followed instruction and it now works successfully.🙂

Yeah it randomly happened to us and we tried everything. Sony wasn’t very responsive on replies so I had to do my own research. Seems like a failed update at their end. Annoying!
