sony bravia xr42a90k and Sony bravia connect app (mobile phone)

Hi I have a sony bravia xr42a90k and a pixel 7a phone

I can pair tv and phone ok

I am trying to get sony|bravia connect app working so I can use my phone as a remote.

I have installed Sony|bravia connect app on my phone (tv and phone show up in either device)

On my phone I start Sony|bravia connect app --> I get turn on the device, Searching for devices and Can't find the device displayed. Nothing else shows except the sofa-mag background just goes round and round.

any ideas on how to fix this

@cpp1006 the TV is not compatible with the app check this article : BRAVIA Connect" app compatible models
