5 year warranty

Dear sir very happy with my new tv 55x90l, the problem is with the free 5 year warranty. I have tried to access it but without success. As an 81 year old i struggle with modern technology, I find it ridiculous that you require photographs of the purchase receipt, it seems to me you are making it as difficult as possible to obtain the warranty.

You are not speaking directly with Sony here, this is a Sony user to user community.

Are you certain your new Sony TV comes with a 5 year warranty not all Sony TVs do.

Where did you buy your TV, if you had bought it from John Lewis or Richer Sounds you would have

been give a 5 and 6 year warranty respectively without having to make a claim or show Sony any receipts.

Hey @Blinkhorn, You will need to check if your dealer is eligible or not from this LINK and then submit the claim, I can see that your TV is an eligible model.
