Can Bravia Cam control remote camera

Strange question, but I'm hoping to have a new house built for me. If I had a Bravia Cam I was wondering if I could watch/ communicate with the builder and control the remote camera from my end?

Hi @ijburnell The simple answer to your question is no, although I believe it can be used for video chat if initiated at home. The simplest solution would probably be Amazon Echo Show, but you would have to do your own research. I believe the higher end models can even follow the person around the room.

Thanks. I was thinking of using the Google meet app on the TV (assuming that is available) using the camera

Hi @ijburnell As far as I am concerned, the Bravia Cam is only useful for dimming the screen, to save energy when nobody is watching. It is good for OLED screens, my XR-55A95K came with a camera. It is one of those look nice marketing gimmicks that nobody uses like auto parking on my car.
