The red led flashes 6 times. I have done a factory reset and it was ok for 3 days. Now reappeared and the factory reset does not fix it. It is quite old but worth fixing if not expensive.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Hi @akredfearn I’m afraid that six flashing red lights is probably the power board has failed. It will cost you more to get it repaired than to buy a new one.

You could try Sony Support, they will make you jump through hoops like insisting on seeing the original invoice etc.
