My Sound bar has become erratic. Sometimes it connects to my Panasonic smart tv, and sometimes it will not connect. I am using a HDMI cable.

If the troubleshooting in your manual here does not help, try the reset as on page 33.

You could be right. Sometimes when it will not connect I unplug the HDMI cable from the ARC port, plug it in again and it connects. Should I be looking for a particular HDMI cable.

High Speed with Ethernet, as a minimum. A Premium cable is theoretically better, but isn’t strictly needed in your setup.

One of the Amazon ones is perfectly acceptable; don’t pay extra just to get one slathered in snake oil.

I have reset the sound bar, and it seems OK now.
