Connecting Freesat box to Sony Bravia

What HDMI port should I use when connecting my Freesat box to my Sony Bravia KD43 TV and what setting should use for that port. Currently the picture and sound quality are nothing like as good as when viewing input from the internet.

Hi @bobjillclark Would you please tell us the full model number of your TV. There are many variations of KD43. Also which Freesat box do you have, just HD or the newer 4k box.

Hi,

The TV is KD43X75WLPU and the Freesat Box is a Recordable 4K 1TB

Changing the HDMI cable to Port 4 and setting it to enhance mode (I think) does seem to made an improvement, but the Suppliers engineers are now going to call in on Thursday to check it over. Can I use my internet connection to get a full TV Guide like I have on the Freesat box. I don't have a conventional aerial.

I think the Arris 4K box automatically outputs the picture in HDR and there numerous complaints about this, it may be possible to select standard on your HDMI input on the TV to get a better picture.

TV now working fine with Freesat connection via Port 4 with enhanced setting. thanks.
