I have a Sony Bravia KD-55S8505C and when i check for software updates it says i am up to date, and yet when browsing the web a new update is available

Firmware update to v5.457

How can i get this installed?

Hey @Witherwack, yup sometimes the TV isn't recognizing the latest software automatically, but you can update it manually using a PC connected to internet and USB stick.

Firstly download the software on your PC from here, then unzip the file and copy it to a blank USB stick, then plug it on your TV through any USB port. The update will start then
