The price of the 55x85c 2015 model 4k TV has dropped on the website by 100 today!

How particualrty happy about that...its always going to happen but not this soon after relase.

Phoned Sony sales from whom I purchased the TV (online) and they are now startin processing a 99.00 refund. Hope that helps some folk.

Did you have to push hard for it or just express mild disappointment and it was quickly offered?

I rang them up couple of days ago and mentioned the price difference so they asked me to take a screenshot from the Sony website showing the new price and order confirmation email. Yesterday, got an email back saying that they will refund the difference and asked for my bank details.

Any chance you could post the screen shot here as I didnt take one and they've now put the price up. I wanted to call them on Saturday but the customer service line isnt open weekends.

Here on mainland EU, it dropped 300 EUR
