2015 Android TV Recommendations Bug

Why dies this tv (65X9005C) try to retrieve home screen recommendations even though I have them all turned off? It then goes one better and reports a fault that it can't get my recommendations!!

not clever at all.

Hi, I bought Sony TV kd55x8509 last saturday. Those recomandations are realy annoyning. I am trying to find solutions to do something with it. Google is everywhere ,my god!.

You can turn them off but the stupid machine then tells you it can't find any recommendations!!
