As this TV is anoying slow and the functionality of the twin receiver is not more than a bad joke, I spend even more money and bought a VU+ receiver. Watching TV is now fast and comfortable, as I expected it from my new Sony, but hearing radio is not possible. The reason is that there are short tone drops, when the Sony is in standby. If I disconnected the HDMI cable, cut the power supply from the TV, or switch the TV on (independent from the source) the drops disappear.

Is there a way to deactivate the HDMI in standby or do anybody know a trick how to avoid this behaviour?

I’m close to throw this anoying pice of technique in the trash bin and buy a new TV, even it’s just one year old.

Regards
