Hi if someone could help it would be great.. Just got a new Sony android tv love it by the way,, but I'm wanting to download mobdro and showbox. Having a bit of trouble thanks

Hi there

Googles PlayTV store is different to the main Play Store - as apps must be specifically adapted to TV use. However some apps can be 'sideloaded' on the TV with a little effort but no guarantees.

Using a web-browser on the TV, goto play.google.com and see if it will install. If it does, you will need to also install 'sideload launcher' too.

With the help of external devices like Mobdro, chromecast, Kodi & Roku, we can actually play such applications on TVs. It is very easy to download & install [Unsuitable URL removed by moderator] with Chromecast on TVs and enjoy it without any cost
